A.W.E

  Team A.W.E. is Combs High School's FIRST Robotics team. Team 9091 was

founded in 2022 with the help of students, faculty, and sponsors. With the goal of bringing STEM to our small community in San Tan Valley.  The 25 founding

students developed the team’s name through several rounds of revisions, ending on

A.W. E. This acronym, standing for “Awesome Waffles for Everyone”, was

developed from an internet acronym. The original acronym, W.A.F.F.L.E.O, is an

abbreviation for “We're All Friends. Friends Love Each Other”. The team decided an

acronym for friendship would help with team spirit and our drive to help other teams along with our community in general. The 2024 season is our second year

competing and we are excited for what the future holds.
